A common way of discharging is gravity type discharging, which uses the material's own gravity from the bottom of the mixer discharging port natural outflow. This method is usually applied to powder or granular materials with good fluidity, fast discharging speed and relatively simple equipment structure, so it is widely used in mass production scenarios. However, due to the mechanical movement of the screw conveyor, it may cause damage to some fragile materials, in addition, its structure is relatively complex and costly.

For some light powders or materials that are easy to adhere, pneumatic discharge is a very effective option. This method uses the propulsion of compressed air to blow the material out of the mixer and transport it through the pipeline to the next process. The advantages of pneumatic discharging are high speed and low material residue, especially in large-scale continuous production. At the same time, however, this method requires a high degree of sealing of the equipment, the use of dust removal systems to avoid dust contamination, and relatively high energy consumption during operation.

In the laboratory or in small mixing plants, the tilting discharge is a simple and easy way. By tilting or turning the entire mixer body, the material is poured directly out of the mixer. This method is suitable for scenarios where the material needs to be switched quickly, and not only is the discharge clean and thorough, but cleaning is also very easy. However, due to the limitation of equipment size and weight, the tilting type discharging is usually only used for small-scale production, and in the process of dumping may generate dust, which needs to take certain protective measures.

In addition, scraper discharge is ideal for certain viscous materials or mixtures that tend to agglomerate. In this way, the material is pushed out by the mechanical scraper, ensuring that even highly viscous materials can be discharged smoothly from the plant. Scraper discharge is suitable for specific material types and is effective in minimising residue, but discharge speeds can be a little slower, while the complexity of the equipment and maintenance costs can be relatively high.

Choosing the right discharging method can not only improve production efficiency, but also reduce equipment maintenance costs and operating difficulties.
